Membership:
Membership is representative of Delta Dental’s industry footprint and is modeled after our current networks in enterprise states, including dentists and their practice associates from different specialties, geographies and organizational sizes. Practice associates must have access to a practicing provider to occasionally seek clinical input.
The Provider Advisory Council comprises three membership tiers.
Leading tier
The leading tier is a highly engaged group of members who can provide the greatest time commitment to the Provider Advisory Council. Members must participate in a minimum of three Delta Dental lines of business in our enterprise states and have active digital adoption with Delta Dental. Digital adoption shall include at least three of the following: electronic funds transfer, active Provider Tools usage, electronic claims submission or practice email on file. The time commitment includes annually, up to-five virtual one-hour meetings or digital surveys, and one in-person meeting (airfare and hotel expenses paid by Delta Dental).
Contributing tier
The contributing tier is an engaged group of members who can provide a lesser time commitment to the Provider Advisory Council compared to the leading tier. Members must participate in a minimum of two Delta Dental lines of business in our enterprise states and have active digital adoption with Delta Dental. Digital adoption shall include at least one of the following: electronic funds transfer, Provider Tools usage, electronic claims submission or practice email on file. The time commitment includes attendance of up to four virtual one-hour meetings or digital survey participation on key topics from time to time.
Supporting tier
The supporting tier is an engaged group of members who want to contribute but are limited in available time. Members must participate in at least one Delta Dental line of business in our enterprise states and have active digital adoption with Delta Dental. Digital adoption shall include at least one of the following: electronic funds transfer, Provider Tools usage, electronic claims submission or practice email on file. The time commitment includes attendance of a maximum of up to three virtual one-hour meetings and digital survey participation on key topics from time to time.
