FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE is based on academic performance, leadership potential, service, and demonstrated financial need. Louise Ann Luckey Scholarships are awarded annually without regard to religion, race, color, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation.
CRITERIA
- Applicants shall be 2025 graduating seniors living and attending school in Franklin County.
- Applicants shall have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. (Applicants with a GPA of 3.0 or higher with outstanding qualifications in remaining areas will receive consideration.) An official transcript must accompany application materials.
- Applicants shall demonstrate financial need by submitting a family score from the Free Application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA Student Aid) Report.
- Applicants shall submit two letters of recommendation from (counselor, teacher, administrator, or clergy) non-family members.
- Applicants shall demonstrate public service or community involvement.
- SAT or ACT scores may be submitted to support and strengthen an application. These tests are not required. They are optional.
- Applicants shall submit a written essay following the instructions provided as part of the application process.
- A college/university acceptance letter must be submitted before scholarship funds are distributed.
Applicants who are selected for interviews will be notified by the selection committed by April 2025. Award notification will be given by mid-late May 2025. Scholarship recipients are expected to attend the Bethany Worship Service and the Award Luncheon on June 8, 2025. Scholarship checks will NOT be sent to recipients via USPS.

I hereby affirm that all the information provided by me to the Louise Ann Luckey Scholarship Committee is true, correct and without forgery. I also consent that my picture may be taken and used for any purpose deemed appropriate to promote the Luckey Scholarship Program.
I hereby understand that if chosen as a scholarship recipient, according to the Luckey Scholarship policy, I must provide evidence of acceptance/matriculation at the post-secondary institution of my choice before scholarship funds can be awarded.
