2021 Community Leadership Application

Eligibility Requirements to Apply for a Chair Elect Position

  1. AAHPM member in good standing for at least one year.
     
  2. Must be a member of the SIG or Forum of interest.
     
  3. Attached curriculum vitae and a 100-word statement of interest (upload on the last page of application).


The job is a 3-year commitment:

  • First Year: you would serve as Chair Elect, receiving mentoring from the current and out-going Chairs.
     
  • Second Year: you would serve as the Chair, the leader of the Special Interest Group (SIG) or Forum. Leading the community meeting at the Annual Assembly.
     
  • Third Year: you would serve as the Past Chair, the veteran, providing input and guidance to the Chair and Chair Elect.
Duties include a few emails, a couple teleconference meetings throughout the year, and attendance at the annual assemblies. Other responsibility include community leader endorsed symposia and quarterly community leader Town Hall calls.
