Become a Committee Member FEPPP

Contact Information and Application

Thank you for your interest in joining a committee for the Financial Education Public-Private Partnership (FEPPP).  We are always seeking out new ways to connect public and private stakeholders to improve and advocate for financial education Washington schools and communities. Below are the descriptions of each committee.

Communications Committee: The mission of the Communications Committee is to represent and advance FEPPP, publish financial education resources, and be an advocate of financial education for students across various communication channels.

Development Committee: The mission of the Development Committee is to fundraise, recruit volunteers, present and develop FEPPP budget for Executive Committee approval and then monitor FEPPP budget, bring together financial education communities and partners, maintain and foster partner relationships, and periodically review the governance structure for FEPPP.

Education Committee: The mission of the Education Committee is to introduce, enhance, and improve financial education in Washington K-12 schools. The Education Committee facilitates this mission by reviewing and providing input on professional development opportunities for educators, and by reviewing standards, reviewing curricula, and advancing certification opportunities (clock hours).

General Membership: General members are individuals who are committed to providing personal financial education to students, who support FEPPP’s mission, and are an advocate for FEPPP’s goals related to financial education. These meetings are held quarterly to inform the general membership and the general partners about the work of FEPPP and for the appointees to vote on proposed FEPPP action.
