Private Wheel Throwing Party

Private Wheel Throwing Party or Lesson at District Clay!

Thank you for inquiring about a Private Wheel Party at the District Clay Center.  Celebrate a birthday, anniversary, holiday, or friends getting together to try their hands at the pottery wheel. Or schedule a private one-on-one lesson with a District Clay teacher. We look forward to creating a fun and muddy event for you and your friends.

Working on the pottery wheel is fun . . . and challenging. It requires hand-to-eye coordination, careful placement of your hands, and firm control over a rapidly spinning wheel. Don't expect to make a perfect pot your first . . . or tenth time.

But you will be thrilled when you cause a cylinder to rise out of a solid lump of clay using your own two hands. A rare few may even experience FLOW. And for some people, it just takes one class to lead to a lifelong avocation.

Please fill out this brief questionnaire and our Studio Manager, Nicole Ponce, will get back to you shortly. A copy of this questionaire will be sent you.
