The Wisconsin Hospital Preparedness Program (WI HPP) must report to our granting entity, the Office of the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) in the Department of Health and Human Services, on the exercises conducted by, and/or real events that were responded to by, Wisconsin hospitals. ASPR requires the Wisconsin Healthcare Emergency Readiness Coalitions (HERCs) match 10% of the grant funding award every year, and we meet this by capturing in-kind efforts in the form of preparedness and response work you do within your organization.
