Grant Application Process and
application deadlines to ensure that you are eligible to apply for funding for this event.
You are completing an application for conference attendance funding. These funds are intended to assist students in attending conference and competitions related to their field of study. Conference grants will cover your eligible expenses to a maximum of $1,000/person and $5,000/group.
Expenses eligible for grant funding are:
- Registration fees (does not include organizational memberships)
- Accommodation expenses (does not include food)
- Travel expenses
In order to be eligible for this grant :
- all individuals included in your application must be registered in at least one on-campus course in the current semester;
- the conference may not be required for completion of your course or program;
- the conference you are attending may not take place more than one semester into the future;
- another group may not have already received funding to attend the same conference;
- members of your group may not have received uReap funding for research related to the conference

***Concerns Related to COVID-19***
We are accepting applications for both virtual and physical conference funding; however, we require that all applicants be prepared for the likelihood that your physical conference could be cancelled or you may be unable to travel to the conference location. This includes ensuring that you have options for travel refunds and that you are prepared to speak to your cancellation plans in your presentation. Approval of in-person applications will be based on health and travel advisories at the time your application is submitted.
