WA Innovation Ecosystem Survey

We need your help to shape the future of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Western Australia.

 

This short survey invites entrepreneurs, innovators, and ecosystem supporters to provide your feedback on the current state of our ecosystem.

 

The survey will take approximately 5 - 7 minutes to complete and ask your thoughts on how well our ecosystem is enabling Western Australian innovators and entrepreneurs to develop and grow their ideas.

 

It can be completed by anyone in Western Australia who is involved in the innovation ecosystem, including:

  • Innovators, entrepreneurs, changemakers and startup founders at all stages of their journey

  • Entrepreneurial support organisations such as incubators, accelerators, coworking spaces, skills program provider etc

  • Individuals who act as mentors, advisors, supporters or investors to the ecosystem

  • Government agencies, philanthropists, universities and other institutions that intersect with the innovation ecosystem

 

The result of this survey will be used to inform recommendations on how we can improve the support for innovators and entrepreneurs in WA. It will also be used as part of the impact evaluation of Meshpoints. You can learn more about Meshpoints here.

This survey has been designed and delivered in partnership with a third-party research organisation, Huber Social. 

Your privacy 

Your responses in this survey are anonymous.

All data remains de-identified to protect your privacy and no individual results will be shared. Your data will be stored securely in the Huber Social Wellbeing Database; in addition to the Meshpoints study, your data may be aggregated with larger datasets to develop broader insights into sector-wide needs.

This study has been approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee at Huber Social. The ethics reference number is: 28277395244.

 

I understand and agree that: 

  • I have read the above information about the survey. 

  • I am over 16 years old and am capable of providing consent. 

  • The survey is entirely voluntary, and I may choose to stop at any time. I understand that even if I stop, the data that I have already entered will be submitted.  

  • Evaluation results may be made publicly available; however, my responses are confidential and no information about me will be used in any way that reveals my identity. 

  • My qualitative open feedback answers may be shared with the client, and specific quotes may be used in the report and subsequent material, however the responses will remain anonymous.  

  • My de-identified survey responses will be collected and securely stored by Huber Social and its affiliated entities. The data will be aggregated and may be used for further research purposes by Huber Social and its affiliated entities. 

  • I understand that I can withdraw from the evaluation at any time without affecting my relationship with the Meshpoints, Spacecubed or Huber Social.
