Growing Home Student Application 2026

Background Information

The Growing Home Program is your chance to connect your college journey to real-world opportunities in Omaha. Through personalized mentorship and exclusive professional development experiences, you’ll gain the skills, network, and confidence to launch your career—all while exploring the city’s vibrant culture, businesses, and community.

Whether you’re studying in Omaha or out of state, this program helps you build meaningful connections with local employers, discover your career path, and see why Omaha is a place where you can grow, thrive, and belong.


Interested students must commit to regular communication with their mentor through the 2026-2027 academic year, attending career development and business visits during summer 2026. Students will receive a stipend for successful participation.
 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • May 2026, graduate from an Omaha-area high school

AND

  • Attend a Higher Education Institution
