Global Health Day - Abstract Submission

Poster Session Details & FAQ

Call for Abstracts!

Global Health Day is an exciting opportunity to draw together global health researchers, educators, and students. This year is especially thrilling as we celebrate the news of Northwestern University Trustees and alumni Patrick G. Ryan and Shirley W. Ryan and their historic gift to endow the newly named Robert J. Havey, MD Institute for Global Health.

We will once again host this year's Global Health Day completely online. Internal and external students, faculty, community members and partners from all disciplines are welcome to participate and apply to virtually present on projects relevant to global health.

Student presenters who choose to work in groups should only submit one abstract per group. If you have a mentor, obtaining his/her guidance early in the abstract preparation process is highly encouraged.

The deadline to submit abstracts is Monday, October 25th. Abstracts should be no more than 500 words.

Presenters, or a representative, must be available to present their work (virtually) at Global Health Day on Friday, December 3rd, 2021. All accepted applicants will receive more details about the presentation format, presenter expectations, and poster guidelines* in the coming weeks.

*Please note that posters are not required. However, in order to be considered for an award, your presentation must also have a corresponding poster.

On the following page you will be prompted to submit details about yourself and your co-authors (if applicable), as well as enter your abstract. If you are submitting on behalf of your group but will not be presenting, please make sure to list the presenter's information or note that you will confirm the presenter's information at a later time.

The Global Health Day schedule will be available here once it is finalized.
