40. Stepping Stones Museum for Children and the YES2 Program make every effort to protect the health and safety of staff, volunteers and visitors. Since reopening in November, 2021, the museum has had a mask mandate for staff inside the museum, capacity limits, easy access to sanitizer and other procedures. These protocols may change depending on health outlooks provided by federal and state governments and medical institutions.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS

The YES²Program, and the outstanding youth that participate in it, plays a vital role in fulfilling the Stepping Stones mission. Every day, these bright participants interact with children, caregivers, staff and other volunteers to enhance the visitor experience. They also provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for each other, which contributes to the participants' positive mental and emotional development.

The support of caregivers is represented in the applicant’s level of participation and is thus important to the overall success of the program. We appreciate that your role is much more than providing transportation and encompasses teamwork with the Senior Manager in order to provide the most fulfilling experience. The museum and the YES² program sincerely values your involvement and looks forward to receiving your son or daughter’s application.
